The Marantz NR1603 is a 7-channel receiver and therefore offers space for seven speakers and a subwoofer. In addition, the receiver has a number of additional features, including network audio streaming (via DLNA), Airplay support for iOS devices, an iPod-compatible digital USB input and an M-DAX2 that improves the sound quality of compressed audio. The HDMI connections are fully compatible with the latest techniques and standards, including Full HD 3D and ARC (Audio Return Channel), while all analog video signals are converted to HDMI level, including I/P conversion and upscaling to 1080p.

The amplifier can be operated with an app on mobile devices, but of course also with the remote control.
